Very Rare White Giraffsزرافات بيضاء نادرة جداً

هل سبق لك أن رأيت زرافة بيضاء؟ حقيقة! وليست صورة معدلة تم التلاعب فيها بالحاسوب.

The first time this bizarre-looking giraffe was sighted in January 2015 roaming Tarangire National Park in Tanzania. Locals called 'OMO' after the washing detergent. Omo is leucistic, meaning partial loss of the pigmentation of the giraffes original color. Other leucistic animals such as waterbuck, Cape buffalo and ostrich have been observed in Tanzania, even in the same National Park. Unfortunately, her white appearance means she will be an easy target for predators and human poachers.

شوهدت هذه الزرافة غريبة المظهر أول مرة في يناير 2015 تتجول في منتزه تارانجير الوطني في تنزانياً. يطلق عليها السكان المحليون إسم 'أومو' وفق إسم منظف الغسيل 'أومو'. أومو هي بهاقية، يعني فقدان جزئي لصبغيات اللون الأصلي للزرافة. وقد لوحظت حيوانات بهاقية أخرى في نفس المنتزه الوطنية منها حيوانات مائية وجاموس كيب والنعام في تنزانيا. ولسوء الحظ، فإن شكلها الأبيض يعني أنها ستكون هدفا سهلا للحيوانات المفترسة و الصيادين من البشر.

Early June 2017, on the rangers adjacent to the Ishaqbini conservancy, Kenya, another 'white giraffe' mother and now with her white baby giraffe were seen. This is a very rare.

وفي أوائل يونيو 2017 وفي السهول المتاخمة لمحمية إيشاكبيني في كينيا، شوهدت'زرافة بيضاء' أخرى أم مع طفلها زرافة صغيرة بيضاء. وهذا أمر نادر جدا.
